About Me
I'm passionate about education and thus enjoy teaching. I hold a Master's degree in Science and have more than 8 years of teaching experience. My goal is to make learning engaging, informative, and effective for each of my students. I believe that every student can succeed with the right approach and guidance. As a teacher, I believe firmly for children to develop independence and responsibility for their own learning. Thus, I encourage students to become lifelong learners and pursue their passions. It is also important to establish a supportive relationship with not only students but also their parents to promote and reinforce a student’s independence and self-esteem.
I take a creative approach to teaching, technology, and communication to help them understand difficult concepts. My teaching methods not only target understanding but also fun to cultivate the interest of learners. I like to relate the topics to real-world applications so that students can relate to their lives and hence understand the concepts better. The knowledge they obtain is not only limited to exam purposes but it can be applied in their daily life.

As a homeroom teacher in an IGCSE Learning Academy, I have a wealth of experience working with students of various academic backgrounds and skill levels. I am skilled in motivating students, instilling in them a positive attitude toward learning, and improving their grades through individual support.
During my journey as a part-time tutor in a tuition centre, I have an in-depth understanding of both the SMK and Chinese Independent School's syllabi, and I have helped many students achieve great results in their exams.
